How do I book the trip?
You can book directly through our website using our secure booking system. Click the “Book Now” button to see full trip details, check availability, and make your reservation.

Do I need a PayPal account to pay?
No. You can pay securely with your credit or debit card through PayPal. A PayPal account is not required.

Is it possible to pay deposit first?
Yes. The deposit option is available if the trip start date is at least 30 days away. To confirm your booking, you can either pay the full amount (which includes the deposit) or secure your booking with a 20% deposit, which is part of the total price.

The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 30 days before the trip, the remaining 80% will be refunded.

The deposit payment option appears during the final step of checkout (Review).

When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due 30 days before the trip. This allows us to arrange domestic flights, train tickets, accommodation, activities, and other arrangements in advance so everything is ready for your arrival.

What happens after I book?
After booking, we will contact you to confirm the details of your trip and help you prepare for your journey. You will receive guidance about flights, arrival arrangements in Nairobi, and practical tips to help you get ready for your Kenya experience.

Is this a group tour?
No. This is a private experience for your group only (up to 6 people). We do not combine different bookings.

Are international flights included?
No. Guests book their own international flights to and from Nairobi. We can help advise you on suitable flight options if needed.

What is included in the price?
The price includes accommodation, domestic flights within Kenya or first-class scenic train travel, depending on the selected experience, airport transfers, local transportation, activities mentioned in the itinerary, one shared meal per day, and personal hosting throughout the trip with your host.

What is not included in the price?
International flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips, and meals not mentioned in the itinerary are not included.

Is it possible to book trips of different lengths?
Yes. We are happy to tailor a trip to suit you and your group—whether you’re looking for a shorter or longer experience. Just get in touch, and we’ll plan the perfect itinerary based on your preferences and schedule.

Who will host the trip?
You will be hosted by a member of the local Veko Experiences team in Kenya. Your host will be with you throughout the journey, ensuring a smooth, safe, and memorable experience.

In some cases, two hosts from our team may join the trip to provide additional support and enhance your experience. Regardless of the setup, you will always have a dedicated host accompanying you for the entire journey.

How long does the safari last?
On our shorter 6-day experiences, the safari is a half-day experience (approximately 4–5 hours). On longer trips, you can choose between a half-day safari (approximately 4–5 hours) or a full-day safari (approximately 8–10 hours), depending on your preferences.

Is Kenya safe for travelers?
We understand that safety is an important concern. Your safety is always our top priority. Our trips are carefully planned with trusted local partners, reliable local transport, and personal hosting throughout the experience.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your trip more than 30 days before the start of the experience, we will refund 80% of the total price. The 20% deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the trip are unfortunately non-refundable. In this case, you may be able to claim the cost through your travel insurance provider.

During the booking process, we also offer an optional refund protection, which in most cases allows a full refund if you need to cancel. You can read more about this option during booking.
