YOUR 6-DAY KENYA JOURNEY ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival & Nairobi Introduction

Depending on your arrival time, your first day may include light and relaxed activities tailored to your energy level.

Rather than following a fixed plan, this welcome day is designed to be flexible. After a long journey, some travelers prefer a gentle walk or a light introduction to the surroundings, while others simply want to rest and settle in.

You might enjoy a walk in Ngong Hills, a local café visit, a simple cultural experience, or just a quiet moment to recover from travel.

We decide the exact plan together once you arrive, ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and natural start to your journey — always adjusted to your pace.

Day 2 – Safari Experience & Giraffe Centre

Start your day with an unforgettable safari in Nairobi National Park — where the rhythm of the wild sets the tone for the journey ahead.

You’ll explore the park in a private 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, designed for optimal wildlife viewing and photography. The experience is fully private — only your group, your driver-guide, and your host are part of the journey.

Your driver is a licensed professional safari guide, ensuring both safety and deep local knowledge throughout the experience. Together with your host, the day is smoothly coordinated and tailored to your preferences.

This is a half-day safari experience (approximately 4–5 hours), offering a rich introduction to Kenya’s wildlife while keeping the pace comfortable and balanced for the rest of your journey.

The experience remains flexible and can be adapted to your group — whether you prefer a relaxed pace, family-friendly timing, birdwatching, or a stronger focus on specific wildlife.

After the safari, the experience continues at a relaxed pace as we visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can feed giraffes and learn about ongoing conservation work in an interactive and memorable setting.

Day 4 - Watamu Marine Park Adventure

A full day in stunning natural surroundings.

The experience includes snorkeling, dolphin spotting, kayaking through mangrove forests, and exploring coral reefs inside a marine park.

You may swim and snorkel, or simply enjoy the underwater world through a glass-bottom boat.

The day includes a delicious meal in island-style surroundings (chicken option available if you do not eat seafood), followed by a calm canoe trip with explanations about nature, wildlife, and local coastal culture.

Notes:

  • This activity may be moved to another day based on weather conditions.

  • If weather prevents the activity entirely, a suitable alternative experience will be arranged.

Day 6 – Final Day: A Gentle Farewell & Return to Nairobi

The final day is designed to be relaxed and flexible, allowing you to enjoy the last moments of your journey at your own pace.

In the morning, we visit a local spice or fruit farm, where you’ll discover regional flavors and learn more about locally grown produce. If you prefer, this part of the day can also be adjusted to a light activity of your choice.

After a shared lunch, we take a domestic flight from Malindi back to Nairobi.

Before departure, we enjoy a final coffee together — a relaxed moment to reflect on the experience, exchange feedback, and simply take in the last moments of your journey.

Day 3 – Flight to the Coast & Malindi Introduction

After breakfast, we fly from Nairobi to Malindi.

We also assist with practical matters if needed, such as withdrawing cash for the coastal part of the trip, where local currency is commonly used.

Upon arrival, we explore Malindi’s beaches and landmarks, such as Bridge Beach, Coco Beach, and historic coastal sights.

We enjoy dinner in beautiful seaside surroundings before continuing to Watamu, where we stay for the next three nights.

Day 5 –Nature, History & Beach time

Today we explore the historical and coastal beauty of the Watamu area at a relaxed and enjoyable pace.

We begin with a visit to the Gedi Ruins, an atmospheric ancient Swahili settlement hidden within lush coastal forest. As you walk through the ruins, you’ll experience a unique blend of history, nature, and local culture — and it’s common to see monkeys moving freely among the trees, adding to the unique character of the site.

After the visit, the day continues at one of Watamu’s beautiful white-sand beaches. Here you can unwind, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or simply enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere at your own pace.

Shared lunch or dinner.
