YOUR 5-DAY KENYA JOURNEY ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi & Journey to Watamu
We will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick you up from your preferred location in Nairobi. Today's schedule is flexible and will be adjusted to match your flight arrival time and travel plans, ensuring a relaxed start to your journey.
Before leaving Nairobi, we stop for a shared lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we travel together from Nairobi to Mombasa aboard a comfortable first-class train, enjoying the changing scenery as the landscapes gradually give way to Kenya's beautiful coastline. Your private host accompanies you throughout the journey.
Upon arrival in Mombasa, we continue by private vehicle to Watamu. Along the way, we stop for a shared meal before arriving at your accommodation, where you can settle in and relax after your journey.

Day 2 - Nature & History
Today, we discover some of the most fascinating natural and historical treasures of the Watamu area.
Our day begins with a visit to a local nature center, where you can see a variety of wildlife up close, including snakes, turtles, chameleons, lizards, and crocodiles — offering a unique glimpse into Kenya’s coastal ecosystem.
Later, we continue to the mysterious Gedi Ruins, an ancient Swahili settlement hidden within the forest. Surrounded by tropical nature and playful monkeys, the ruins offer a fascinating journey into the rich history and culture of the East African coast.
During the day, we’ll also enjoy a shared lunch or dinner together in a relaxed local atmosphere.
Day 5 – Farewell & Return
In the morning, we’ll head to Mombasa, where you can explore the vibrant coastal city, enjoy local shopping opportunities, and experience the unique atmosphere of Kenya’s historic seaside culture. From lively streets and local markets to the blend of African, Arab, and Swahili influences, Mombasa offers a memorable glimpse into everyday life on the Kenyan coast.
We then enjoy a shared lunch before beginning the journey back to Nairobi by train.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we take a final moment together over coffee — a relaxed opportunity to reflect on the experience, exchange feedback, and close the journey in a comfortable and unhurried way.

Day 3 - Marine Park Adventure
A full day in stunning natural surroundings.
The experience includes snorkeling, dolphin spotting, kayaking through mangrove forests, and exploring coral reefs inside a marine park.
You may swim and snorkel, or simply enjoy the underwater world through a glass-bottom boat.
The day includes a delicious meal in island-style surroundings (chicken option available if you do not eat seafood), followed by a calm canoe trip with explanations about nature, wildlife, and local coastal culture.
Notes:
This activity may be moved to another day based on weather conditions.
If weather prevents the activity entirely, a suitable alternative experience will be arranged.
Day 4 – Easy Costal Day
A relaxed and flexible day by the coast.
This is a perfect day to slow down, enjoy the beach, and experience everyday life in Watamu at your own pace. You may choose to swim, relax by the ocean, explore small local shops and market stalls, or take a casual tuk-tuk ride.
We are happy to accompany you throughout the day if you wish – just like on every day of the trip – or give you space to enjoy the coast independently.

To confirm your booking, you can either pay the full amount or a 20% deposit, which is part of the total price. The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 30 days before the trip, the remaining 80% will be refunded. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the trip.

Your experience includes accommodation, domestic flights, airport transfers, local transportation, activities mentioned in the itinerary, and personal hosting throughout the journey with the same local host by your side from arrival to departure.
To make the experience feel relaxed and personal, one shared meal per day is also included.
Is Kenya safe for travelers?

Is this a group tour?
No. This is a private experience for your group only (up to 6 people). We do not combine different bookings.
Who will host the trip?

Is it possible to pay deposit first?
Yes. You can secure your booking with a 20% non-refundable deposit if the trip starts at least 30 days later.
